With the arrival of her new single “Your Jesus”, released earlier this week, Brooke Moriber showcases an evolving direction that leans into both emotional depth and polished country-pop production. Her commanding voice and narrative-driven writing sit firmly at the centre of the track. This acts as the follow-up to her collaboration with Little Anthony on the single “Hurt So Bad”.

Written by Brooke Moriber, Marti Dodson, and PJ Ju, whilst it was produced by Sol Philcox-Littlefield, “Your Jesus” dives into themes of identity, personal belief and the emotional weight of trying to live up to someone else’s expectations. Through vivid lines and a soaring hook, Moriber reflects on how easy it can be to lose yourself in another person’s idea of what salvation should look like. The song leans into both vulnerability and resolve, pairing layered production with her unmistakable, clear-toned delivery.

Coming from a place of heart and honesty, this new single adds real dimension to Brooke Moriber’s catalogue, building steadily into a chorus that lands with impact and highlights just how assured she has become as a rising singer-songwriter. Blending country and pop around her richly expressive vocals, she delivers a narrative about walking away from a consistently deceitful partner. The lyrics make it clear that while he may seek redemption, she is no longer willing to carry the weight of his mistakes. Beautiful vocal runs and a strong emotional pull run throughout the track, giving “Your Jesus” a resonant and memorable finish.

Brooke Moriber has carved out a distinctive place for herself in country music. Beginning her career on Broadway at a young age, she later found songwriting during a difficult period when she temporarily lost her eyesight to a rare condition. Once the illness went into remission, she began making trips to Nashville and channelling those experiences into her own creative voice. Her breakout single, “Cry Like A Girl”, opened the door to a growing fan base and eventually led to her signing with Reviver Records.

Over the years, her releases have picked up notable attention, with placements on Spotify’s New Music Friday Country and Country Christmas playlists, as well as airplay on outlets including SiriusXM’s Velvet, CMT online, Music Choice and the Music Row Country Breakout chart. Industry praise has followed, with Brooke Moriber often highlighted for her expressive songwriting and commanding voice, and she has performed alongside artists such as Scotty McCreery, Cyndi Lauper, Dylan Scott, Caroline Jones and The Gin Blossoms.

Beyond her own catalogue, Brooke Moriber has built a strong presence on the live circuit through her ongoing “Nashville in New York (NINY)” Songwriters in the Round series. The bi-monthly showcase brings the spirit of a Nashville writers’ round to Manhattan, featuring both established and emerging talent. The most recent edition included an intimate acoustic set from Brooke Moriber, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Little Anthony of The Imperials and rising artist Charly Reynolds, with guest MC duties handled by Jim Murphy of the Music Choice Network.

The series has built a strong reputation for spotlighting a wide mix of songwriters and performers, with past editions featuring talents such as Jeff Cohen, Kara DioGuardi, Emily Shackleton, and Ian Flanigan. Each show reflects Brooke Moriber’s commitment to nurturing creative spaces in New York that echo the spirit of Nashville’s writer rounds. She has even taken the concept on the road, recently hosting a “Nashville in Denver” edition alongside Randall Fowler, Matt Stell, Erin Kinsey, and guest performer Kenya Reese.

Away from the stage, Brooke Moriber continues to collaborate with a lineup of respected writers and producers, including Todd Lombardo, Craig Alvin, Karen Kosowski, David Pittenger, and Sol Philcox Littlefield. Her ongoing studio work signals a consistent evolution, with “Your Jesus” offering a strong indication of where her next chapter may lead.

“Your Jesus”, by Brooke Moriber, is available to download and stream, right now, across all platforms, via Reviver Records.
