This acts as the follow-up to the Luca Agnelli remix of Dimitri Vegas’ collaboration with Chapter & Verse on the single “Friends”, which also featured Steve Aoki; David Guetta’s powerhouse collaboration with Afrojack, Martin Garrix, and Amél on “Our Time”; and Loreen’s single release from earlier this month, titled “Echoes“.
Written by Dag Lundberg, David Guetta, Dimitri Thivaios (Dimitri Vegas), Lorine Zineb Nora Talhaoui (Loreen), KIDDO, Petey Martin, and Axel Demarbaix (Andromedik), whilst it has been produced by Dimitri Vegas, David Guetta, Loreen, Andromedik, and Petey Martin (all according to Apple Music), “Pum Pum” is a jungle and drum’n’bass fusion that is set to alight dancefloors around the world, this summer. With rapid-fire BPMs, addicting basslines, and Loreen’s exotic vocal flavours, this track arrives during festival season, ready to make an undeniable impact.

As Dimitri Vegas explained, this marks his fifth collaboration with David Guetta, following 2017’s “Complicated” with his brother and duo partner Like Mike, featuring Kiiara; 2019’s “Instagram” alongside Like Mike and Daddy Yankee, featuring Afro Bros and Natti Natasha; 2022’s “The Drop” with Nicole Scherzinger, featuring Azteck; and 2023’s “She Knows” with Like Mike, Afro Bros, and Akon.
All three artists are at the top of their game, especially within the European EDM scene, and “Pum Pum” only solidifies that status.
