On “American Wedding”, flowerovlove leans into dreamy, romantic storytelling, exploring the idea of a spontaneous, cinematic love story set against the backdrop of an imagined Las Vegas wedding. The track balances that sense of escapism with emotional tension, as the narrative is shaped by a complicated relationship dynamic in which her partner isn’t ready to fully commit. Its lyrics align seamlessly with the alt-pop aesthetic, complemented by R&B influences, heartfelt dynamic vocals, and a subtle pop-rock-inspired rhythm. The single was co-written with Russell Chell, Joyce Cissé (flowerovlove), Skyler Stonestreet, and Ryland Blackinton, with Chell and Blackinton also handling production duties, continuing a collaborative thread from her previous release, “Casual Lady”.
That earlier single, released in February, further highlighted her evolving artistic identity, blending playful, buoyant production with themes of independence and unexpected romance. Together, both tracks signal a cohesive direction in her recent work, one that navigates the push and pull between self-assurance and vulnerability.
Beyond the studio, flowerovlove’s live presence continues to gain momentum. In addition to her upcoming Coachella performances on April 12 and 19, she is set to appear at OUTLOUD Music Festival at WeHo Pride, The Governors Ball, and Benicàssim Festival later this year. Her growing list of festival appearances builds on a series of high-profile live moments, including her 2025 Lollapalooza debut, as well as support slots alongside major artists.
She has previously opened for Olivia Rodrigo at London’s Hyde Park, supported Khalid on a US date, and toured North America with HAIM and Halsey, further solidifying her reputation as a compelling live performer.

With over 142 million global streams to her name—including notable success for tracks such as “breaking news” and “a girl like me”—flowerovlove is rapidly establishing herself as a multifaceted force across both music and fashion. A recipient of a Music Week Women In Music award and a MOBO nominee, she has also made an impact within the fashion space, attending major fashion weeks in Paris, New York, and London, and collaborating with brands such as Louis Vuitton and Etsy.
As “American Wedding” ushers in this next phase, flowerovlove continues to carve out her space with a blend of introspective songwriting and an ever-expanding global presence. With its dreamy, alt-pop sensibilities and emotionally layered narrative, the single further cements her ability to balance vulnerability with polished, genre-blurring production. As she takes to the stage at major events, including the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and beyond, audiences attending this year’s festival circuit have the chance to experience that energy firsthand, with flowerovlove proving herself as both a compelling recording artist and an increasingly captivating live performer.
“American Wedding”, by flowerovlove, is available to download and stream, right now, across all platforms, via UMG Recordings. Don’t forget to catch her this year at Coachella, OUTLOUD Music Festival at WeHo Pride, The Governors Ball, and Benicàssim Festival.
