Marking their first release of 2026, As December Falls have unveiled their brand-new single, “Anymore”, a hard-hitting rock anthem that’s poised to resonate strongly with fans. Alongside the release, the band have premiered an official music video that captures their signature high-energy performance within the shadowy setting of a desolate building, amplifying the track’s intensity and emotional weight. The single arrives as the latest chapter in the band’s current era, following the extended edition of their most recent album, “Everything’s On Fire But I’m Fine”.

Written by Bethany Hunter, Ande Hunter, Timmy Francis, and Alex Copp, and produced by Alex Copp with mastering handled by Mike Kalajian, “Anymore” fully embraces the band’s rock foundations, giving As December Falls space to showcase their collective strengths. Bethany Hunter delivers commanding vocal performances that balance power with vulnerability, while Ande Hunter’s sharp lead guitar work cuts confidently through the mix, supported by Timmy Francis’ driving basslines that anchor the track’s intensity. Although now a three-piece following KC’s departure in January, his drumming remains a vital part of the single, with thunderous percussion and crashing cymbals adding weight and momentum throughout.

Together, the band craft an immersive, emotionally charged soundscape, blending dynamic instrumentation with a memorable melody and a purposeful production. Lyrically, “Anymore” captures a moment of emotional breaking point, centring on the repeated declaration, “I don’t wanna be here anymore,” as feelings of exhaustion, detachment, and the need for escape rise to the surface.
Speaking of the release, vocalist Bethany Hunter shares, “With ‘Anymore’, we wanted it to feel like a clear step into a new era for the band. It’s fast, hook-driven, and pulls in more electronic elements than we’ve used before, which gives it a really modern, high-energy feel. Lyrically, it’s about reaching a breaking point and not wanting to be here anymore, which is where we introduce the main character of a new world that we’re building the fifth album on—Blue. Thematically, it almost feels like the natural progression of our track ‘Therapy’ off of ‘Everything’s On Fire But I’m Fine’.”

“The song,” she continues, “is the starting point of a bigger narrative across the album, where she discovers the ability to portal between worlds and escape her reality. Each song from the new record will be accompanied by a short story for fans to really get into the lore of the record. It’s the sound of us pushing forward creatively while building something much more cinematic and story-driven than we’ve ever done before, and I’m so excited to share it with the world!”

Directed, produced, and edited by Camphaus Media, the official music video for “Anymore” takes on a performance-driven approach, placing As December Falls front and centre within the shadowy confines of a desolate industrial building. Bethany Hunter commands much of the visual focus, her striking blue hair illuminated against the dark surroundings as she delivers an emotionally charged performance that mirrors the intensity of the track. Interwoven with these moments are dynamic shots of Ande Hunter and Timmy Francis, whose energetic guitar and bass performances reinforce the video’s sense of urgency and momentum, highlighting the tight musicianship that defines the band’s sound.

Subtle narrative elements are layered throughout, adding an air of mystery to the otherwise performance-led visual. Bethany Hunter is seen following an ethereal blue light through the abandoned structure, while Ande Hunter and Timmy Francis appear to search the building separately, creating a quiet tension that builds toward the video’s closing moments. This journey culminates when Bethany Hunter discovers a glowing blue portal and steps through it, leaving the others behind and bringing the visual to an ambiguous, thought-provoking conclusion.
2026 is shaping up to be another defining chapter for As December Falls. Formed in Nottingham, the fiercely independent rock trio—married couple Bethany Hunter and Ande Hunter, alongside their long-time friend Timmy Francis—have steadily built a devoted following through relentless touring, emotionally charged songwriting, and a DIY ethos that has allowed them to forge their own path within the UK rock scene.
Their breakthrough third album, “Join The Club”, reached Number 11 on the UK Official Albums Chart in 2023, marking a major milestone in their ascent, before they went one step further with 2025’s “Everything’s On Fire But I’m Fine”, which became their first Top 10 album after peaking at Number 8. With each release, the band have continued to expand their reach, cementing their reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting modern rock success stories.
