Country music artist Brooke Moriber has captivated listeners with her latest release, “So Do I” which was dropped on July 19, 2024. This poignant new single explores the deep emotions and reflections that follow the end of a significant relationship, offering a fresh perspective on the themes of loss and longing. This acts as the follow-up to her previous single “More Love“.

Written by Brooke Moriber, Jessica Cayne, and Karen Kosowski, “So Do I” captures the essence of regret in regards to ending a relationship and wondering if they feel as lost as you do. With lines that evoke a sense of nostalgia and unresolved emotions, Moriber’s latest release paints a vivid picture of a heart grappling with loss and unanswered questions. The lyrics poignantly explore the sentiments of wishing for the other person’s return while grappling with the emptiness left behind.

Moriber’s new single is a progressive country-pop anthem that begins with a subtle, intimate arrangement, allowing Moriber’s beautiful and captivating storytelling vocals to take centre stage. As the track unfolds, it builds to a powerful, catchy chorus that resonates with deep, heart-aching emotion. Moriber’s performance on this track is arguably the best we’ve heard from her, connecting with listeners on a profound level and making the song relatable to anyone who has experienced the pain of a breakup.

The production of “So Do I” showcases a blend of traditional and modern country sounds, crafted by an accomplished team. Recorded at Addiction Sound Studios and The Holodeck South in Nashville, Tennessee, the song benefits from a rich, dynamic sound that enhances Moriber’s poignant lyrics and heartfelt delivery.

In conjunction with her single release, Moriber recently hosted the latest instalment of her series “Nashville in New York” (NINY) on July 20. Moriber’s path in country music is a compelling story of resilience and creativity. Starting her career on Broadway as a young performer, Moriber’s life took a dramatic shift when she faced a rare eye disease that led her to embrace songwriting as a means of coping. Once her health improved, she turned to Nashville to weave her personal experiences into music. Her debut single, “Cry Like A Girl”, along with her subsequent releases, has garnered acclaim for her dynamic vocal delivery and exceptional songwriting talent.
