Marking a fearless creative leap, “Анаконда”, which translates to “Anaconda” in English, is ZHANNET’s most daring release yet, both visually and thematically. Filmed just days after an explosion devastated the Darnytsia district in Kyiv, the video takes place in a space that narrowly avoided destruction. Instead of retreating, this Ukrainian female singer and her team embraced the chaos, turning the damaged setting into a raw, electrifying art space that pulses with strength, sensuality, and survival. This acts as the follow-up to her collaboration with legendary Ukrainian artist Ivo Bobul on the single “Жіноче щастя” (“Women’s Happiness”).

Pushing boundaries with fierce confidence, “Анаконда” is more than just a provocative visual; it’s a declaration of resilience, empowerment, and self-expression. ZHANNET steps fully into her power, embodying a seductive and fearless serpent-like persona surrounded by smoke, lasers, and even a real snake. The artist describes this character as “strong, sexy, dangerous,” and ultimately, a reflection of herself.

“This is a woman who is impossible not to love. She is strong, sexy, dangerous. She is a snake. She is me. This is one of my boldest works,” ZHANNET shared. “But it wasn’t a challenge for me—on the contrary, I finally allowed myself to be myself, openly show my style, my energy.”
Despite facing power outages and safety concerns following the nearby explosion, ZHANNET remained undeterred. With her creative vision already mapped out, she sourced locations herself and brought in a team from her hometown of Poltava. Together, they turned the damaged studio into an immersive set, powered by EcoFlow technology, and crafted a visual spectacle now captivating thousands online.
“We spent the night at my house, I cooked them goodies, and then together we filmed something that is now viewed by thousands,” Zhannet said.
The snake featured in the video, directed by Anna Chetvertak while Oleksandr Shulika acted as videographer and second director, wasn’t just a visual gimmick; it played a symbolic role in ZHANNET’s transformation. She admitted to having an initial fear of working with the reptile, even joking that her facial expressions from those early moments were meme-worthy. But over time, she found a striking connection with the animal, which helped amplify her portrayal of liberated sensuality.
The track itself pulses with dancefloor energy, serving as a sonic extension of the video’s powerful visuals. “Анаконда” (“Anaconda”) is ZHANNET’s artistic statement on what it means to be a modern woman: fearless, expressive, and unapologetically independent.
“I don’t just sing,” she explains. “I show the real me. This style is mine. I feel comfortable even in candid scenes. It’s not about challenge, it’s about freedom”

Despite the ongoing challenges of war, ZHANNET remains committed to her music and to giving her audience joy and release. She believes in the healing power of rhythm and emotion, and she’s already gearing up for live performances. In our exclusive interview with her, she expressed all this and more. “Life goes on,” she said. “Young people want emotions, drive, dancing. I believe that my image will be liked, and I am already preparing for live concerts. It will be a special meeting with my listener.”
With “Анаконда” (“Anaconda”), ZHANNET isn’t just making music, she’s making a statement. And it’s one we won’t be forgetting anytime soon. The single is available to download and stream, right now, across all platforms, via GM Digital.
