Sabrina Carpenter has once again proven her staying power, holding onto the top spot of the UK Official Singles Chart for the third consecutive week with her latest single, “Espresso”. The frothy single continues to resonate with listeners across the UK, solidifying Carpenter’s position as a major player in the music industry—finally, she’s getting the music career success she truly deserves after years of grafting.

Sabrina Carpenter’s success with “Espresso” is underpinned by its impressive streaming numbers. The single amassed 8.5 million streams this week, making it the most-streamed single in the country again. This sustained popularity showcases the single’s widespread appeal and Carpenter’s ability to connect with a diverse audience. This song certainly isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

“Espresso” has managed to fend off stiff competition from notable artists such as Post Malone and Morgan Wallen. Their new collaboration, “I Had Some Help”, debuts at Number 2, narrowly missing out on the top spot by just under 2,000 chart units. Despite this, the track is making waves, marking Post Malone’s ninth Top 10 single in the UK and Morgan Wallen’s first—a significant milestone for the American country star.

In other chart news, Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” continues its upward trajectory, climbing four places to reach a new peak at Number 6. The diss track has been gaining momentum, reflecting Lamar’s enduring influence in the rap scene.

Meanwhile, rising US star Mark Ambor is nearing a major milestone with his hit “Belong Together”, which has climbed to a new high at Number 11. As it edges closer to the Top 10, anticipation builds that next week could see Ambor achieving his first Top 10 hit in the UK.

Additionally, Luton-raised singer-songwriter Myles Smith has made an impressive debut on the UK Top 40 with his tender track “Stargazing”, placing at Number 12. Smith’s emotional and evocative songwriting has struck a chord with listeners, earning him a spot among the top contenders.

Benson Boone also sees success with his latest single “Slow It Down”, which climbs seven places to reach a new peak at Number 16. This follow-up to his chart-topping hit “Beautiful Things” marks Boone’s second Top 20 hit, showcasing his growing popularity and consistent performance on the charts.

Elsewhere, Eurovision has made its annual impact on the chart. The winning act, Nemo, scored a UK Top 20 hit with “The Code” which debuts at Number 18—continuing the reign of Eurovision winners of the last five years all consecutively entering the UK Top 40. This marked Switzerland’s first Eurovision Song Contest win since 1988 when Céline Dion won the contest. The impact continued with second-place Croatian representative, Baby Lasagna, charting at Number 36 with “Rim Tim Tagi Dim”, and the Netherlands’ representative, Joost Klein, grabbing Number 37 with “Europapa” which can be considered a supportive message from the UK public after he was disqualified from performing in the Grand Final,

Eurovision continued its impact outside the UK Top 40, with UK representative Olly Alexander charting at Number 48 with “Dizzy”, not quite beating his peak of Number 42 from its debut March entry; Ireland representative, Bambie Thug, cast a spell on us all, charting at Number 67 with “Doomsday Blue”; and, last but not least, Ukrainian representatives Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil placed at Number 100 with “Teresa & Maria”.

As Sabrina Carpenter enjoys her third week at the top with “Espresso”, the UK music scene remains vibrant and competitive, with new and established artists alike making significant strides. Fans and listeners can look forward to seeing how these chart dynamics evolve in the coming weeks and can keep up-to-date with the chart on the Official Charts Company website.
