Written by ADI Istrate, Alexandra Stanciu (Alessandra), and Alex Cotoi—who also handles production—“Morenito” sees INNA return to her affinity for the Spanish language and Latin culture, delivering an upbeat dance number that feels tailor-made for any fiesta playlist. The track further highlights her ability to stand alongside some of the biggest names in Latin pop and dance, including Camila Cabello, Anitta, Karol G, Rosalía, and Becky G. Addictive, unforgettable, and arguably too short at just 2 minutes and 15 seconds, “Morenito” introduces a fresh dimension to this Eastern European artist, showcasing a new sonic flavour that complements both her voice and vibrant artistic identity.

Bringing the summer sun and positioning itself as a potential anthem for summer 2026, “Morenito” is a vibrant, flirtatious track centred on a romantic connection. The Spanish lyrics, translated into English, describe the protagonist’s instant attraction to a “morenito”—an affectionate term often used for a man with dark features, such as dark hair, eyes, or complexion—after spotting him from a balcony.

This encounter sparks her devotion, as she offers him her full attention and unwavering support. She expresses a desire to remain by his side, taking on roles as his driver, dancer, and confidante, while promising to fulfil his wishes and even “bring him the moon”. Throughout the track, this deep affection is reinforced, all wrapped within an upbeat, danceable production.

The accompanying music video, directed by Bogdan Păun with cinematography by Gosh and produced by Loops Production, transports viewers into a lively Latin fiesta, fully embracing the track’s party-driven energy. INNA arrives dressed to command attention, wearing a red floral bra paired with a black skirt featuring a dramatic side split, styled with black heeled sandals and a delicate chain necklace that falls to her waist, subtly catching the light and adding a soft sparkle to her look. With long, curled hair and flawless make-up, she immediately takes centre stage, exuding confidence as she moves through the party.

Owning the spotlight, she interacts effortlessly with the crowd, dancing with multiple partygoers and even delivering a brief 5-second burst of choreography. Following this, she takes a sip of beer before sharing a brief flirtatious eye-lock with a tall, dark-haired man she had first spotted from the balcony. She then makes her way to the band, grabbing the microphone to perform the second verse live, before passing it to a blonde female and heading back to the dancefloor.

The setting is opulent, with warm lighting and a plant in the background, creating a sophisticated and introspective tone.

It is here that the energy shifts again as the guy she’s been making eyes with joins her on the floor, leading to a more intense, flirtatious dance between the pair, during which she playfully takes his hat. After the exchange, she continues moving through the party, seamlessly weaving between guests as the celebration carries on around her. As the video draws to a close, she ascends a staircase, sharing one final glance with him before making her exit. Flirtatious throughout and brimming with self-assurance, INNA leans into the “señorita” aesthetic, fully embodying the role with style and ease.
