INNA Takes Flight with “Wizz Away” Single and Music Video in Wizz Air Collaboration
Written by Elena Alexandra Apostoleanu (INNA), Marcel Botezan, and Sebastian Barac, and produced by Botezan and Barac, “Wizz Away” is a nostalgic, Eurodance-inspired track that captures the essence of Romanian “Popcorn” music while reworking it into a modern dance-pop anthem. Addictive and instantly catchy, the song highlights the signature production style that Botezan and Barac have developed alongside INNA since the beginning of her career, reinforcing their long-standing creative chemistry. The result is a refreshed take on her early sound, reimagined for a mainstream audience while still rooted in nostalgia.
Lyrically, the track embraces a carefree, spontaneous summer energy, centred around leaving worries behind in favour of a road trip or escape. Through imagery of driving, sun-soaked days, and late-night intimacy, the song celebrates living in the moment and the freedom of getting “miles away” from everyday pressures. According to the press release, the track “reflects the airline’s bold, youthful spirit and its connection with the experiences that inspire today’s travellers.”
Alongside the single release, INNA also dropped the official music video, directed by Bogdan Păun, with cinematography by Gosh and production handled by Loops Production. Filmed in Bucharest and at Bucharest Otopeni Airport, the visual follows the top Romanian female singer as she sets off on a girls’ trip, riding in the passenger seat surrounded by friends as they make their way to the airport.
As the journey unfolds, a plane passes overhead before the group arrives, grabs their carry-on bags and heads towards the plane. The video then shifts into playful choreography sequences, using their luggage as props, giving it a distinct TikTok-style energy. Fun and engaging, the girls’ trip concept creates a relaxed, carefree atmosphere that invites viewers to join in, aligning seamlessly with the song’s themes and its connection to Wizz Air.

Released on June 7, 2026, the video is composed of footage from her headline set at Heart Society’s fifth anniversary at BTarena in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
Over the years, INNA has frequently embraced live performance visuals as official music videos, becoming a part of her release strategy, and this latest video continues that approach. It follows closely after another recent live performance release, which served as the official music video for her collaboration with Matoma, “Dream Out Loud”.
