Romanian superstar INNA recently brought a dose of spontaneous joy to the streets of Paris, surprising fans with an impromptu live street performance at the foot of the iconic Sacré-Cœur in Montmartre on April 15, 2025. She joined Colombian-born, France-based street musician and composer Sergio Muñoz, who is a regular performer on these steps, captivating passers-by with a raw and heartfelt set that quickly went viral online.
Dressed casually yet chic in grey, wide, ripped trousers, a vintage-style leather jacket, and eye-catching cream coloured split-toe heels, INNA proved once again that her star power shines just as brightly in the heart of a city as it does on a major stage. From what we can gather, she appeared to be enjoying a laid-back stroll through Paris before spontaneously stopping to join Sergio Muñoz mid-performance. Known for his acoustic takes on popular hits, Muñoz often brings in sizeable crowds on the iconic steps of Sacré-Cœur with his soulful energy and magnetic stage presence.
With just a guitar as backing, the two created a magical street session moment, with INNA performing some of her most beloved hits. TikTok user Sarah captured the performance in a series of videos, and her posts have since racked up hundreds of thousands of views and comments, with fans from across the globe celebrating the surprise gig. From the videos, INNA performed her iconic anthems “Hot” and “Sun is Up”, and she even did a cover of Avicii’s “Wake Me Up”.
During the mini-concert, INNA extended an invitation to Sergio Muñoz and the crowd:
“For everybody who doesn’t know, I’m going to have a concert on 8th May at Zénith, and I want to invite you to come with me on the stage. I want to share the moment with you. You welcomed me to your stage and I want to welcome you to my stage.”
She later took to TikTok thanking Sergio Muñoz in French and tagging him in the description, saying, “Paris, you have my heart! Merci [Sergio Muñoz].”
The spontaneous collaboration brought back strong memories for longtime fans of INNA. A decade ago, she launched her “INNA Live on the Street” YouTube series, delivering raw, live performances in public spaces. In Barcelona, she stunned with performances of “Take Me Higher”, “Low”, and “Devil’s Paradise”, and also released a similar session from Istanbul, where she once again performed “Take Me Higher”. The tour also spans cities such as Vienna, Prague, Amsterdam, Barcelona, and Toulon, where INNA will perform fan favourites like “Hot”, “Amazing”, “Sun Is Up”, “Cola Song”, “Rock My Body”, “Up”, and probably her latest release with Sean Paul which is titled “Let It Talk To Me”.
Kicking off in Austria, the “Echoes by INNA” European tour will also stop in the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, France, and Spain, with additional dates and locations to be announced soon—we’re so hoping for a UK date.
