In the trailer, we see protagonists Jamie and Vivian, alongside their intrepid group of survivors, embarking on a daring mission to infiltrate Velorum’s latest venture—an exclusive ‘wellness’ festival for millionaires nestled in the remote Slovenian countryside. Amidst scenes of intrigue and suspense, the trailer teases viewers with snippets of the group going undercover and navigating the treacherous landscape of the festival, where danger lurks around every corner.

As the trailer unfolds, viewers are treated to glimpses of new characters, each adding layers of complexity to the narrative. From LGBTQ+ representation to heart-pounding action sequences featuring shotguns and acrobat performers, the trailer promises a thrilling and diverse array of experiences for audiences to enjoy. There’s also a scene with a drag queen who is lurking in what we presume is a library as she’s seen within an aisle of bookcases, wearing a red wig and holding a small bejewelled box in her hand as a weapon.

One standout moment in the trailer features a guide at the festival uttering the word “namaste”. hinting at the deceptive tranquillity that masks the true horrors lurking beneath the surface. This juxtaposition of serenity and danger sets the stage for an exhilarating and unpredictable journey that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

With its captivating visuals and horrorsome hints at what’s to come, the trailer for Wreck series 2 leaves audiences wanting more—35 seconds really isn’t enough. As Jamie and his friends delve deeper into the mysteries surrounding Velorum, it becomes clear that their quest for justice will lead them down a path fraught with peril and unexpected twists.

BBC Three isn’t giving much away but they have added a tantalising YouTube description to the trailer, “Just when you thought the gang were out of the woods, Wreck Series 2 kicks off months after Jamie and his friends survive the bloodcurdling mayhem on the Velorum, the cruise-lining murder machine that claimed Jamie’s sister. In a daring and desperate attempt to bring the company down, the gang go undercover to infiltrate Velorum’s newest venture – an exclusive ‘wellness’ festival for millionaires in the remote Slovenian countryside. It’s going to be a cleansing experience…but not quite what they had in mind!”

With a compelling storyline, a talented cast, and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of the horror-comedy genre, the upcoming series is set to leave an indelible mark on the TV landscape as a whole.
