Singer-songwriter and musician Cruz Beckham has unveiled his latest single, “for your love”, marking the next chapter in his steadily evolving music career. Accompanied by an official music video, the release further cements his commitment to carving out his own sound while embracing the energy of live performance. This acts as the follow-up to his debut duo single release, titled “OPTICS” and “LICK THE TOAD”.

Written by Cruz Beckham alongside Justin Raisen, Anthony Paul Lopez, Lewis Pesacov, and Joe Kennedy, the track was produced by Raisen and Lopez. Recording duties were handled by Brad Lauchert, with mixing by Lars Stalfors and mastering by Ruairi O’Flaherty. The single arrives alongside a performance-led music video, which sees Cruz Beckham joined by his band, The Breakers—comprised of Dan Ewins, Telmo Seixas, and Dario Scotti. Filmed with a raw, band-focused aesthetic, the visual highlights the group’s on-stage chemistry and includes a cameo from his grandfather, Tony Adams—the father of his mother, Victoria Beckham—adding an understated personal touch to the release.
Drawing clear influence from 1990s Britpop acts such as Blur and Oasis, Cruz Beckham leans into a driving rock arrangement anchored by steady percussion and textured guitar work. His vocal delivery carries a sense of emotional conviction, yet remains controlled, allowing the instrumentation space to build and recede naturally. Several instrumental passages place The Breakers at the forefront, highlighting the band’s cohesion and live energy. While music has long been part of his family background—as the son of Victoria Beckham—Cruz Beckham is pursuing a distinctly different sonic lane, continuing to shape an identity rooted firmly in contemporary rock.
The music video also features Ahmed Al-Sibai, who appears as an exaggerated music executive alongside Cruz Beckham’s grandfather, Tony Adams. Directed by Gabriela Grafolin, with Reece James Morrison serving as Director of Photography, the visual opens with a comedic exchange between Cruz Beckham & The Breakers and the fictional executive. During the meeting, the executive insists the band secure sponsorship to fund the video—leading to the group sporting Reebok jackets—and suggests the track feels dated, proposing a faster tempo and structural edits including doubling the bpm. The band resists the idea, though the executive appears unmoved, even mistakenly referring to Cruz Beckham as his brother Romeo as he exits the room.
The scene then transitions to a small television screen introducing “The Tony Adams Show”, where his grandfather, Tony Adams, presents the band before they launch into a performance of “for your love”. Still wearing the Reebok jackets referenced earlier in the video, the performance segment leans into a classic televised studio format while retaining the tongue-in-cheek tone established in the opening scene.
As the camera widens to capture the full band setup, Cruz Beckham and the Breakers take centre stage, using the moment to showcase their live presence and performance energy. The sequence places emphasis on the chemistry between him and The Breakers, with the staging and camerawork highlighting the track’s driving instrumentation and reinforcing the band-focused identity that underpins the release.
Reflecting on “for your love”, Cruz Beckham has indicated that the single carries particular importance within his catalogue to date. It marked the first track he completed alongside Justin Raisen and Lewis Pesacov, a collaboration that helped shape the creative direction of their work together moving forward.
“I love this song,” Cruz Beckham stated in a press release. “It’s been so fun to play live over the last couple of months. It was the first track I properly finished with Justin and Lewis, who are total legends at what they do, and we all walked away knowing this had really laid the foundations for everything else we’ve created together. For me, it’s all about love and being fearless in that love, but I hope everyone can interpret it in their own way and find their own meaning to it.”
The collaboration with Justin Raisen and Lewis Pesacov proved to be a turning point in the studio, with the trio reportedly identifying the track as a defining moment in shaping Cruz Beckham’s sonic direction. Emerging as an early creative breakthrough, the song laid the groundwork for the musical identity he continues to develop. Thematically, it explores devotion, desire, and the courage to love without restraint.
The single follows Cruz Beckham’s debut release, “OPTICS”, which arrived in October last year alongside “LICK THE TOAD”, formally introducing him as a recording artist. The dual release offered an early glimpse into his developing sound and creative direction, signalling the beginning of his long-anticipated entry into the music industry. Together, the tracks marked the first step in establishing his presence beyond live performances, laying the groundwork for the material that has since followed.
Beyond the studio, Cruz Beckham has been building momentum on stage. He recently announced his first headline show with The Breakers at The Courtyard Theatre in London, scheduled for March 27. The date sold out within minutes, prompting the announcement of a wider UK and European tour. Cruz Beckham first stepped onto the live circuit late last year, quietly performing a string of intimate support slots under various aliases alongside The Royston Club. Beginning at The George Tavern in London, those early shows allowed him to test material in smaller venues while honing his stage presence.
On the tour, Cruz Beckham said, “I’m so excited to get out on the road, I’ve always been inspired by bands who do it the right way, so I wanna get out there and play loads of small gigs. I cannot wait to meet the fans and for them to hear the tracks. I can’t believe people have actually spent their hard-earned money to come and see me and my band, so we’re gonna put on a show! I’m so buzzing to have our own banner for The Breakers, we’ve only been a support band so far, so this time we get our own banner!!”

With “for your love” now available and a headline tour underway, Cruz Beckham continues to refine a sound shaped by Britpop influences, band-driven instrumentation, and a clear emphasis on live performance. From its guitar-led arrangement to its performance-focused visual, the release reinforces his commitment to building momentum on stage while further defining his place within contemporary rock.
“for your love”, by Cruz Beckham, is available to download and stream, right now, across all platforms, via Republic Records, which is a division of UMG Recordings. Don’t forget to grab tickets to The For The Love Tour before they sell out. Tickets can be bought from his official website and from See Tickets.
