Rising pop artist Camille K returns with an electrifying new single titled “Good For A Minute”, a fierce and liberating track that’s set to ignite playlists everywhere. Out now across all download and streaming platforms, the song bursts with energy from the very first note, delivering a powerful message of confidence, spontaneity, and unapologetic self-expression. This acts as the follow-up to her previous single, “Be My Boo“.

Written and produced by Camille K and David Michael Mason (M11SON), with additional production from Lectriq and Dirty Harry Zelnick (who make up the production team Sakred Wolves alongside M11SON), “Good For A Minute” is an addictive guitar-pop track driven by sleek production and a captivating vocal performance.

The song explores the emotional complexities of fleeting relationships, where vulnerability and guardedness intertwine. Camille K reflects on the temptation to change for a short-term romantic connection, embracing the pull to be a good girl rather than a bad girl, but only for a minute—capturing that delicate balance between desire and emotional protection.

With its catchy melody and dynamic rhythm, “Good For A Minute” combines chilled pop-rock themes with raw emotion, showcasing this singer-songwriter’s ability to blend honest storytelling with infectious sound. It’s a track that not only stands out sonically but also offers a glimpse into her evolution as an artist, as she continues to deliver music that resonates deeply with listeners.

The new release continues a strong run for Camille K, whose distinctive style blends classic and modern influences. Raised in a household with musical contrasts—her mother favouring soul and R&B, and her father leaning into classic rock—she has developed a genre-fluid sound that bridges generations. That unique blend has helped her carve out her place in the current pop landscape.

No stranger to the stage, this rising female artist began performing at just 11 years old and has since shared the spotlight with icons like Gina Schock of The Go-Go’s, Jeff “Skunk” Baxter of Steely Dan and the Doobie Brothers, and Barry Goudreau of Boston. She has also opened for chart-topping acts including Flo Rida, Ja Rule, Lit, O-Town, LFO, Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC, and Jon Anderson of Yes.

Camille K gained national attention in 2022 when she appeared on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, performing her original track “Still in Love”. Her performance earned standing ovations from the judges—Simon Cowell called it “beautiful”, Heidi Klum praised her as “absolutely amazing”, and Sofia Vergara described her voice as “spectacular”. She unfortunately didn’t make it past the deliberations round, sadly not being picked as one of the 55 acts that competed in the Semifinals.

Her talents extend beyond music, too—her songs have featured in films like Finding Christmas and 7th Secret, and her previous release, the “Daydreamer” maxi-single, climbed to number two on the iTunes Top Dance Albums chart. Camille K is currently collaborating with Grammy Award-winning production team Sakred Wolves (made up of Dirty Harry Zelnick, Lectriq, and M11SON) as she continues to refine her sound and break new ground.

With “Good For A Minute”, Camille K continues to push her artistry forward, offering a track that balances vulnerability with strength. It’s a relatable reflection on emotional self-preservation and the fleeting nature of connection, wrapped in polished pop production. As she continues to carve out her space in the music scene, this rising female pop artist proves she’s unafraid to explore the grey areas of the human experience, one compelling release at a time.

“Good For A Minute”, by Camille K, is available to download and stream, right now, across all platforms. Her previous single, “Be My Boo“, has rapidly gained streams, and it looks like this latest track will follow suit, deservedly.
