Pop-country artist Brooke Moriber returns with a powerful new single titled “Proving Me Wrong”, and it’s quickly shaping up to be an emotional anthem for those who never believed in real love, until someone changed their mind. This acts as the follow-up to her previous single titled “I Still Need You“.

Blending Moriber’s unmistakable vocals with vulnerable, down-to-earth lyrics, “Proving Me Wrong” dives headfirst into the journey from heartbreak and guarded emotions to rediscovering hope. Produced by fellow country artist Ian Flanigan, the track showcases a strong songwriting collaboration between Moriber, Ian Flanigan, and Randall Fowler.

Right from the start, “Proving Me Wrong” paints a vivid picture of emotional weariness, highlighting the kind of disillusionment that comes from encountering too many people who promise more than they deliver. Brooke Moriber channels that familiar frustration before shifting the tone entirely, revealing the surprising power of real love to disarm even the most guarded heart.

The track resonates deeply with anyone who’s ever struggled to believe in lasting love. With its blend of soaring vocals and honest storytelling, it offers a sense of hope, reminding listeners that the right person can sometimes come along and challenge everything you thought you knew about relationships. Brooke Moriber’s vocals are flawless throughout, as we’ve come to expect from her, but it’s the ballad-like tone that sets this release apart. Leaning more into pop ballad territory with subtle country inflexions, it adds a layer of versatility to her artistry and proves that she’s still evolving, always with something new to offer.

Alongside the release, Brooke Moriber will also be taking to the stage for her beloved Nashville in New York series. Returning to iconic NYC venue The Bitter End on Saturday, July 26, the evening will feature a songwriters’ round packed with talent. Joining Moriber are country songwriting stars Jim Beavers, Charlie Worsham, and Jay Knowles, with Q104.3’s Ken Dashow acting as the night’s MC. The event runs from 7–9 PM and aims to bring the spirit of Nashville right into the heart of Manhattan. Tickets are available here.

Originally from New York City, Brooke Moriber has built a unique path within the country music scene. After getting her start on Broadway as a child, she turned to songwriting as a means of expression during a difficult period in her life, having temporarily lost her vision to a rare eye disease. When her sight returned after four years, she began travelling to Nashville to share her truth through music.

Since then, Brooke Moriber has earned praise for her vocal power and songwriting skills. Her debut single “Cry Like A Girl” gained traction independently before she signed with Nashville label Reviver Records. Her tracks have landed on Spotify’s New Music Friday Country and Country Christmas playlists, with additional support from Sirius XM’s Velvet, CMT, Music Choice Network, and the Music Row Country Breakout radio chart.

The upcoming Nashville in New York event is just the latest in a growing series that Brooke Moriber has been championing. The showcase has previously featured standout names such as Kara DioGuardi, Calista Clark, Ian Flanigan, and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Little Anthony. More recently, Brooke took the concept beyond NYC, launching a Nashville in Denver event at the Wild Goose Saloon, proving that the spirit of Music City can thrive wherever she brings it.

When she’s not on stage or hosting songwriter showcases, Brooke Moriber is hard at work in the studio, collaborating with respected producers and writers such as Todd Lombardo and Craig Alvin (Kacey Musgraves), Karen Kosowski (Mickey Guyton), David Pittenger (GAYLE, Parmalee), and Sol Philcox Littlefield.

With “Proving Me Wrong”, Brooke Moriber continues to make her mark as a rising force in pop-country, balancing heartfelt lyrics, stellar production, and a genuine vocal performance that captures what it feels like when love defies all expectations.

“Proving Me Wrong”, by Brooke Moriber, is available to download and stream, right now, across all platforms, via Reviver Records. If you’re in the New York area, don’t forget to buy your tickets to the forthcoming Nashville in New York event, where Moriber will be joined by Jim Beavers, Charlie Worsham, and Jay Knowles, with Ken Dashow acting as the MC.
