The project reimagines songs from “Forever”, their 2024 record, with some of the biggest names across rock, pop, and country stepping in to lend their voices. Bruce Springsteen, Avril Lavigne, Robbie Williams, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, James Bay, Ryan Tedder, Jason Isbell, Carin León, Joe Elliott, Billy Falcon, The War & Treaty, and Marcus King all feature on the 14-track collection.
To mark the announcement, Bon Jovi revealed that their new single, “Red, White and Jersey”, will debut this Friday, alongside the first collaborative release, “Hollow Man”, which pairs Jon Bon Jovi with long-time friend and New Jersey native Bruce Springsteen. Both songs will be available on all major streaming platforms.

Speaking about the record, Jon Bon Jovi reflected on the personal journey that led to its creation. Following vocal cord surgery and a lengthy rehabilitation process, the singer admitted he was unable to take “Forever” on the road as originally planned. Instead, he turned to fellow artists for support.
“This album is more than just a collection of collaborations, it is an album borne out of necessity,” Jon Bon Jovi explained. “My vocal cord surgery and subsequent rehab was a well-documented journey that played out while releasing ‘Forever’ in June 2024. I was singing well enough in the studio for the recording, but the vocal demands and rigors of touring were still out of reach for me.”
He continued by saying, “Without the ability to tour or promote an album we were all very proud of, I decided to call on some friends to help me in my time of need. All are great singers, artists, and also just great people. The result is an album with a new viewpoint and new spirit—a collaboration album that proves we all get by in this world with a little help from our friends. I feel tremendous joy and gratitude releasing this album, and I think it shows in the music. I can say with certainty that there is always something bigger than ME, and that’s WE.”
The collaborations on “Forever (Legendary Edition)” span a wide spectrum of genres, bringing together some of the most influential voices in music. British icon and Take That member Robbie Williams is bound to inject charisma into “We Made It Look Easy”, while Country Music Association award-winner Lainey Wilson is set to lend heartfelt emotion to “I Wrote You A Song”. Country-rock breakout Jelly Roll will certainly power through “Living Proof”, and Canadian rock superstar Avril Lavigne will definitely shine on “Living In Paradise”.
Additionally, Def Leppard’s legendary frontman Joe Elliott will most likely add grit to “Walls Of Jericho”, while acclaimed British singer-songwriter James Bay will undoubtedly deliver a stirring rendition of “Legendary”. GRAMMY-winning producer and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder will doubtlessly bring his polished touch to “Seeds”, and acclaimed husband-and-wife duo The War & Treaty are expected to contribute soul and gospel warmth to “The People’s House”. Meanwhile, celebrated Americana artist Jason Isbell is set to lend his storytelling craft and heartfelt authenticity to “Waves”, adding another layer of richness to the collection.
The album also highlights Bon Jovi’s deep connections with long-time collaborators and rising talents alike. Frequent songwriting partner Billy Falcon appears on “Kiss The Bride”, while acclaimed blues guitarist Marcus King is destined to deliver emotional depth on “My First Guitar”. Mexican star Carin León expands the album’s global reach with a bilingual version of “We Made It Look Easy / Hicimos Que Pareciera Fácil”, underscoring the band’s international resonance. And in one of the most highly anticipated moments, “Hollow Man” pairs Jon Bon Jovi with fellow New Jersey legend Bruce Springsteen, bringing two of rock’s most iconic voices together on a track that embodies the spirit of friendship and unity at the heart of the project.
