Buffalo-based fusion band FAR Trio are currently embarking on an East Coast tour, delivering their signature mix of soul, blues, and singer-songwriter elements to fans across the Northeast. Originally formed over a decade ago in Fredonia, New York, the trio is known for their dynamic live performances and their ability to seamlessly blend genres, captivating audiences with their earthy sound.
Consisting of Eamon Rayhn on vocals and bass, Drew Azzinaro on vocals and guitar, and Ethan Fox on drums, FAR Trio have become a staple of the Northeast music scene. Playing over 150 shows each year, they’ve built a reputation for engaging live performances in cities like Buffalo, New York City, the Finger Lakes, Philadelphia, and the Hudson Valley, steadily growing their fanbase along the way.
FAR Trio’s reputation for energetic and soulful live performances has earned them spots at some of the most iconic venues, such as The Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall, and Shakti Lounge. Their talent has also seen them perform at major jazz festivals, including The Northwest Jazz Festival and the Carnegie Jazz Festival. Whether they’re delivering original compositions or reinterpreting classics by legends like John Lennon and The Allman Brothers, the band continues to win over both fans and critics alike with their dynamic sound.
In 2022, FAR Trio unveiled their second album, “Ordinary Moments”, a 14-track project recorded in Woodstock, New York, with renowned producer Scott Petito, whose past collaborations include James Taylor and Chick Corea. The album highlights the band’s growth, blending heartfelt singer-songwriter elements with gritty blues grooves, and further cementing their ability to appeal to a wide range of listeners.
Having already released two albums—”FAR Volume 1″ in 2019 and “Ordinary Moments” in 2022—FAR Trio are constantly pushing their creative boundaries. As they continue to write and explore new musical directions, their upcoming project, set for release next year, promises to stay true to their signature fusion of earthy sounds while introducing fresh, genre-blending elements.
