It’s a sound that feels unfiltered and alive, built for late-night dancefloors and wide-open roads alike. This acts as the follow-up to his previous single “Be Together”.
Written by Adam Miller Wilson and Harry Hays Lawson (Peech.), “Wild One” explores more than just romantic passion; it’s a tribute to the powerful, sometimes chaotic, force that music has played in his life. “This song is more than just about a person,” this rising country-pop artist explains. “It’s about music pulling me into the unknown, challenging me, and keeping me alive. Created by Happy I’m Sad Productions and directed by Bennett Barbosa, the video opens with a dramatic chase scene: Peech., our main protagonist, and his partner-in-crime and love interest, played by Aja Rane, speeding past a police car in a green Dodge Dart. The flashing lights quickly follow as Rane fans a thick stack of cash, hinting at the trouble they’ve stirred up.
From there, we’re taken back to see how the chaos unfolded. We first catch the pair partying in the desert with friends, dancing and laughing around a roaring campfire while Peech. performs the track. Later, the action shifts to a quiet diner, set at Oakley Diner, Utah, where they notice staff casually leaving the till cash on the counter while cashing up. Aja Rane steps out to start the car while our main protagonist seizes the moment—snatching the money and sprinting out the door. It all comes full circle in the closing scene, where their wild joyride comes to an end as the police pull him over and the police officer, played by Scott Partington, places Peech. under arrest.
Following a string of emotional releases such as “Be Together” and the fan-favourite “Tell Me”, this new single marks a brighter, more joyful shift in this singer-songwriter’s sound. It’s a celebration of connection, spontaneity, and living fully in the moment, showing a different side to his songwriting while still keeping it rooted in honesty. “Wild One” also sets the stage for his upcoming EP “Small Town America (Volume 1)”, which is set to drop on August 22, 2025.
To celebrate the release, Peech. will be hitting the stage for a series of shows, including his EP release show at Soundwell in Salt Lake City on August 21, followed by a debut performance at Nashville’s renowned Whiskey Jam on August 28. Fans will also get a chance to catch him at Park City Song Summit on August 14 and a surprise pop-up show in Nashville on August 29.
