Written by Jason Bell, Jane Deux (Aaliyah), and Alison Freed, whilst it has been produced by Jason Bell, “I Want More” is a vibrant, radio-ready pop-rock anthem that leans into an infectious blend of bold hooks and high-energy production. Designed with both summer playlists and live performances in mind, the track captures a sense of confidence and self-assurance, encouraging listeners to pursue what truly excites them. At its heart, the song explores themes of not settling—whether in relationships or personal ambitions—while embracing the instinct to follow what feels right.

Speaking about the deeper meaning behind the track, vocalist Alison Freed explains, “It also has a bit of a warning not to get caught up with the things people abuse or can’t get enough of.” Adding an extra layer of reflection beneath its upbeat exterior.

Accompanying the single’s release is an official music video, directed by Ali Flynn and Sarah Bloom and produced by Zola Frachi, which visually expands on these themes. It explores the delicate balance between desire and self-awareness, highlighting the fine line between chasing fulfilment and becoming consumed by it. Through this lens, Royal She deliver a compelling narrative that mirrors the song’s message of self-trust and personal boundaries.

Throughout the video, Alison Freed is seen sharing intimate moments with various women, portraying intense and emotionally charged relationships. These scenes are intercut with performance shots of Royal She alongside drummer Fer Fuentes and bassist Cheska Zaide, creating an energetic, basement-style club atmosphere. During the second verse, a car scene is paired with the lyrics before transitioning to a dining room setting, where the Royal She duo, Alison Freed and Alexandria Reyes, sit in front of a bare-bones feast, declaring their desire for more as the track’s addictive hook takes over. The sequence builds in intensity as they begin eating with their hands, joined by surrounding extras, reinforcing the song’s themes of indulgence and desire.

Fans attending West Hollywood Pride were among the first to experience “I Want More” live, as Royal She performed the track at 3:40 p.m. on the Celebration Stage as part of the Women’s Freedom Festival on June 6. The performance marked a significant moment for the band, combining the release of new music with a major live showcase.

Royal She, led by vocalist Alison Freed and guitarist Alexandria Reyes, have continued to build momentum since forming in 2019. Performing as an all-female four-piece, the band emerged following a Best Hard Rock Album nomination at the San Diego Music Awards with their former project, My Elysian. Since then, they have secured notable live performances across Los Angeles and achieved strong streaming numbers with their debut album, signalling a growing presence within the alt-rock scene.

With “I Want More,” Royal She deliver a confident and captivating release that not only reinforces their signature sound but also highlights their evolving artistry—offering a track that feels equally at home on stage, on the airwaves, and on repeat throughout the summer.

“I Want More”, by Royal She, is available to download and stream, right now, across all platforms.
