“Blue Neighbourhood” 10th Anniversary: What’s Inside
Troye Sivan’s Career-Defining Debut Returns for Its 10-Year Milestone
Originally released in December 2015, “Blue Neighbourhood” marked a turning point in Sivan’s career, introducing him to a global audience and laying the foundation for his rise as one of pop music’s most recognisable voices. On the night of the album’s original release, he also made his US television debut with a performance of lead single “YOUTH” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Over the past decade, the album has gone on to generate more than 6.5 billion global streams, top digital charts in dozens of countries, and achieve platinum certification across multiple territories. Several of its singles, including “YOUTH”, “WILD”, “FOOLS”, and “TALK ME DOWN”, became career-defining moments for the Australian artist.
Limited-Edition Physical Formats and Reimagined Artwork
“Blue Neighbourhood – Ten Years On” will be available as a limited physical release across vinyl, CD, and cassette. The vinyl edition will arrive as a special gatefold package featuring two coloured discs, one in blush pink and the other in pale blue, along with an exclusive poster.
The anniversary release will also feature newly reimagined illustrated artwork created by original album illustrator Hsiao-Ron Cheng, offering a fresh visual take on the project while still honouring its original identity.

Two Bonus Songs Added to the Anniversary Edition
For the first time, two fan-favourite tracks from the “Blue Neighbourhood” creative era will be officially included on the album’s core tracklist. These are:
- “Strawberries & Cigarettes” – written by Troye Sivan, Jack Antonoff, and Alex Hope, with Antonoff acting as Producer – later popularised through the 2018 film Love, Simon, the Gold-certified sleeper hit has since amassed over one billion combined global streams.
- “Swimming Pools” – written by Sivan, Bram Inscore, Brett McLaughlin, and Alexandra Hughes, with Inscore acting as Producer – previously only available through select physical editions of the original album, now receiving its widest release to date.
Their addition gives fans a more complete snapshot of the era that launched Troye Sivan’s recording career.

A Deeply Personal Album That Defined a Generation of Fans
At the time of its release, Sivan described his debut as a highly personal body of work, shaped by both his upbringing in suburban Perth and his sudden transition into the fast-paced world of international stardom. The album explored themes of identity, vulnerability, relationships, and self-discovery from the perspective of early adulthood—topics that continue to resonate strongly with listeners today.
The project was also accompanied by a trilogy of connected music videos for “WILD”, “FOOLS”, and “TALK ME DOWN”, helping to visually expand the album’s emotional narrative.
Troye Sivan’s Evolution Since Blue Neighbourhood
Since his debut, Sivan has continued to build a successful and multifaceted career across music, fashion, film, and business. Following “Blue Neighbourhood”, he released “Bloom”, the “In A Dream” EP, and most recently his third studio album, “Something To Give Each Other”, which delivered major global hits including “Rush” and “Got Me Started”.
Prior to “Blue Neighbourhood”, he was a successful YouTuber, released EPs “Dare to Dream”, “The June Haverly EP”, “TRXYE”, and “Wild”; not to mention he also competed in “Star Search” where he was a finalist, and also appeared in films “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” as Young James Howlett, “Spud” as John “Spud” Milton as well as its sequels “Spud 2: The Madness Continues” and “Spud 3: Learning to Fly” starring alongside John Cleese.
In 2024, he headlined tour dates across Europe and Australia titled Something To Give Each Other Tour, where we attended the Birmingham date (check out our gig review here). He also co-headlined the North American SWEAT tour alongside Charli XCX.
