NYC Web Fest (NYCWF) has unveiled its 2025 Official Selections—and Good Star Vibes has the exclusive first look. This year’s festival not only celebrates the very best in web series, pilot episodes, and short films but, for the first time, officially welcomes podcasts into the mix. Running from November 14–16, 2025, at The Producers Club in Midtown Manhattan, the event continues its tradition of spotlighting bold, independent storytelling from across the globe.

Founded by Lauren Atkins in 2014, NYC Web Fest has grown into one of the most dynamic showcases for digital creators. What began as a way to provide online storytellers with a platform in New York City now attracts an international crowd of filmmakers, producers, and content innovators every year. The addition of a podcast category marks a major milestone for the festival, reflecting the growing influence of audio-first storytelling.

“Every year, I’m blown away by the creativity and innovation of our community,” said Lauren Atkins, Founder of NYC Web Fest. “This year is especially exciting as we’re expanding into podcasts for the first time and welcoming incredible new partners. I’m deeply grateful to our jury and our team for helping us grow this festival while staying true to our mission: to uplift independent creators and give their stories the platform they deserve.”

This year’s lineup is one of NYC Web Fest’s largest yet, with 50 official selections—20 of which are podcasts. Alongside the new category, the festival is also introducing partnerships with Theorist Studios, Blue Foxes, Aux Mode, and the Paramount Hotel Times Square. These collaborations will offer creators everything from studio sessions and grants to YouTube strategy consultations and exclusive hospitality deals during the festival weekend.
