Acclaimed musician and actor Sam Palladio has exciting news for his UK fans: he will be embarking on his first-ever UK headline tour in September 2024. The tour, titled Before We Lost The Light Tour, coincides with the release of his debut album, “The Perfect Summer’s Day, Before We Lost The Light”, set to drop on September 13, 2024.
The tour will kick off on September 22, 2024, at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds and wrap up at London’s Omeara on September 30, 2024. “The Perfect Summer’s Day, Before We Lost The Light” promises to be a deeply personal album, with its creation spanning from Nashville to Los Angeles. The album was produced by Grammy-winning producer Dave Sardy, known for his work with Noel Gallagher, Band Of Horses, and Royal Blood. It features collaborations with notable artists like Biffy Clyro’s Simon Neil and Foo Fighters’ Chris Shiflett.
The album’s title, “The Perfect Summer’s Day, Before We Lost The Light”, is inspired by the single “Something On My Mind”, a poignant pop ballad that serves as a tribute to Palladio’s late mother, Sally. The album delves into themes of personal loss, Palladio’s musical experiences, and his trans-Atlantic life, blending elements of heartland Americana with his love for rock and guitar music.
Palladio’s latest single, “Gone Like The Summer”, was co-written with ex-Kaiser Chiefs drummer Nick Hodgson.
